INSPIRATION
The isiZulu-term “imbokodo” meaning, hard grinding stone (used to crush maize corn to make maize flour for porridge). This name describes the resilience of the African women. Similarly this term is used in the slogan: “Wathint’ abafazi, wathint’ imbokodo” - translated: “Strike a women - strike a rock!” Initially, we were a group of women who intended to start and advertising and print studio, in a male dominated industry. We have since, open our doors to highly skilled gentlemen, doing away with a segregational trend of thought.
